- Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work in progress, and finished goods.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures for materials management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Train, mentor, and supervise materials team members.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in materials management within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in MS Office and materials management software.
- Flexibility to work in non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
