Description

Our team, supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), is looking for a seasoned Computer Technician to provide support and maintenance for MSC's Mobile Expeditionary Communications Kits (MECKs).

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with a dedicated MECK support team to ensure equipment operability and compliance
Monitor and maintain Windows 10 systems, including updates installation, routine health checks, IA compliance, hardware/software troubleshooting, and repairs
Assist in resolving networking issues related to antenna communications (e.g., IP based)
Conduct scans to guarantee IA compliance
Develop SOPs, drawings, and system documentation
Maintain a tracking system to monitor IA posture and equipment operability status for readiness Job Requirements
Hold a current IAT II or higher security certification as per IAWF DoD M
Obtain an appropriate Computing Environment or vendor certification within 6 months of employment for the supported communications equipment as per IAWF DoD M
Have 5 years' experience supporting Windows products, including laptops building/troubleshooting/repairing/upgrading, using image/cloning tools, STIG remediation, ACAS, Group Policy, PowerShell, and HBSS/Endpoint Protection
Capable of running and interpreting ACAS/Nessus scans, STIG checklists, SCAP scans, and providing remediation/mitigation guidance on Windows systems for team execution
Experience in connecting Windows laptops with various communication equipment
Possess basic router configuration knowledge
Able to lift 50 lbs
