MATERIAL HANDLER
Direct Mail Solutions is a full-service mail company located in Richmond, Virginia. DMS is seeking a
Material Handler, who will assist the Laser/Bindery Department. This is an entry level position and if successful one can step up into new opportunities.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safe operation of material movement equipment.
  • Ability to efficiently operate computerized inventory systems.
  • Efficient and effective handling of finished product/mail while tracking and storing.
  • Safe and wellorganized loading of materials into machines.
  • Order and return material to and from the warehouse.
  • Assist coworkers in other areas for the overall success of the entire production department.
  • Work flexible overtime when necessary.

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities:


  • Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
  • Well, organized with the ability to prioritize workload.
  • Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Basic computer and communication skills are required.
  • Pallet Jack experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, occasionally more than 50 lbs. Frequent bending, twisting, and pulling.
  • Strong organizational skills. Willing to work overtime as it is needed.

This is a full-time position. Day shift rotating shift.
Core day shift hours are three days a week 6:10am - 7:40pm
