- Managing and directing the operations of the production lines and supervisors.
- Guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of team members.
- Communicating to the management team, all needs for equipment, supplies, personnel, maintenance or repairs.
- Communicating constantly with the production staff, supervisors, drivers and carriers.
- Ensuring manufacturing and processing staff wear appropriate sanitary and protective gear to ensure health and safety.
- Ensuring the production goes according to planning.
- Monitoring production to resolve issues
- Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Prepare periodic reports to update upper management on food production activities.
- Optimizing the operations.
- Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn the equipment and facilities to be maintained.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software as required to complete and maintain records.
- Able to easily travel between locations.
- Able to work first or second shift (if needed).
- Able to be on call as required.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or related.
- Languages: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- ERP system knowledge: NAV/BC.
- +7 years of managerial experience, in the seafood industry (preferred)
- At least 5 years experience in manufacturing, storage, or handling industry including experience in a food production management environment.
- Bachelors degree in food science, food technology, or manufacturing engineering, or similar.
- Experience with production software.
- Full time position in a company with almost 100 years of experience in the seafood business.

In 2018 Stavis Seafoods was acquired by Profand. Headquartered in Spain, Profands mission is to create a multinational company within the global fishing sector, processing and manufacturing the highest quality seafood under a fully integrated and sustainable model from extraction to sale, while also ensuring the highest safety and profitability.
We are currently looking for a Production Manager. The Production Manager's role will manage the daily production process. He will ensure that the production planning for the day is being executed and address any product or facility issue, in a timely manner.
