Description

Job Title: Warehouse/Material Distribution Associate

We are looking for someone to join our team at BD, one of the largest global medical technology companies, where we are dedicated to advancing the world of health with imagination and passion. This position involves warehouse and material distribution tasks related to product receiving and shipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Processing customer orders, including scanning bar codes, labeling boxes, picking product, and preparing packages for shipment.
Palletizing items by scanning, retrieving, and placing completed orders on pallets.
Re-palletizing products for shipment.
Dock manifest duties, such as scanning completed pallets and using a shrink wrapper.
Operating the ground/manual manifest station.
Transporting pallets using material handling equipment.
Ensuring all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and following procedures.
Maintaining a clean work area as outlined in Quality System Regulations.
Following Good Documentation Practices as outlined in SOP.
Prioritizing safety and maintaining safe working conditions.
Ensuring regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications:

Effective communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Reading and interpreting distribution documents.
Collaborating well with other team members.
Working under minimal supervision.
Operating material handling equipment and RF scanner.
Working in a metrics-driven environment.
Operating an electric pallet jack if required.
Basic analytical and organizational skills.
General computer and distribution knowledge.
Understanding of Quality System Regulations.

Language Skills:

Strong communication skills.

Mathematical Skills:

Good basic math skills.

Reasoning Ability:

Problem-solving ability and adapting to shifting priorities.
