Summary/Objective:

The HR Generalist at our Chippewa Falls location will report to the HR Manager for Europe and oversee the daily operations of the HR department. This includes recruiting and hiring new staff, conducting new hire orientation and onboarding, managing employee records, enforcing company policies, and other related processes.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process for European hires, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, and conducting reference checks.
  • Assist in preparing offer letters, employment agreements, and negotiating contracts.
  • Conduct new hire orientation and manage onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Handle all necessary paperwork for new hires, transfers, promotions, and other employment matters.
  • Oversee the local internship program, including talent acquisition and partnerships with educational institutions.
  • Assist in creating and updating job descriptions.
  • Maintain accurate employee information in our absence management and time recording system.
  • Administer employee programs, such as benefits and insurance policies.
  • Assist in planning team building activities and company events.
  • Coordinate medical examinations in compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and guidelines.
