Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations and supporting policies and procedures.
  • Work with and train Digital Office Services Specialists responsible for accurately intaking all paper claims and authorizations.
  • Assist the Digital Office Supervisor in prioritizing all intake work to ensure that operational partners are successfully set up to meet contractual client turnaround times.
  • Assist the Digital Office Supervisor in monitoring daytoday activities of Digital Office Services staff, ensuring compliance with mailing timeframes.
  • Work closely with IT department to ensure scan files are transferred both on time and to the required location, daily.
  • Oversee quality control and fulfillment vendor and mailroom activities including exceptions, potential count discrepancies, return mail, and accuracy of fulfillment materials.
  • Support a culture of effective communication and teamwork both within the Inventory Control team as well as partners throughout the organization.
  • Assist with the entry of all 837 files that are received and inputted into the system.
  • Assist Digital Office Services staff in mail processing and movement of materials.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert on internal systems.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years in supervision of a centralized mailroom or office services team.
  • Experience in dental, vision or the healthcare field, to include claims and/or billing experience, is preferred.
  • An aptitude for making quick decisions, pivoting between priorities and projects, and communicating change.
  • The ability to accelerate impact and lead change.
  • Proficient knowledge and skill in Microsoft Office Applications and are an adaptable learner in other industry tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize data to identify trends and transfer data into process improvement and innovation.

Hourly/Non-Exempt
