_Job Purpose
:
The Targeting Officer works onsite for a US Government client and supports that client's worldwide operations on specific issues or geographies.
Essential Functions
:
- Leverage analytical expertise to identify relationships yielding information needed to address the most critical requirements of the customer.
- Develops allsource intelligence products supporting Counterterrorism HUMINT collection operations.
- Using sophisticated, customerprovided tools and datasets, provides tailored research and analysis on foreign threat networks and individuals.
- Drafts formal correspondence per government client standards.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience
:
-
TS/SCI US Government security clearance with polygraph. Applicants without the required clearance will not be considered.
:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university
- Prior experience in supporting HUMINT operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives
- Willingness to work onsite in the Washington, DC area
Level 1
:
One (1) or more years of demonstrated relevant work experience

Level 2
:
Three (3) or more years of demonstrated relevant work experience

Level 3
:
Seven (7) or more years of demonstrated relevant work experience. Targeter certification or 7 years of experience as a contractor targeter.

Level 4
:
Twelve (12) or more years of demonstrated relevant work experience. Targeter certification or 12 years of experience as a contractor targeter.

Level 5
:
Twenty (20) or more years of demonstrated relevant work experience. Targeter certification.
Preferred Skills/Experience
:
- Client targeter certification highly preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Highly motivated, selfstarter personality with demonstrated ability to spot new opportunities and spearhead new initiatives.
- A friendly and collaborative attitude; ability to work well independently and in groups with mínimal supervision; ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace client oversight at all levels, and balance competing demands
