Job Objective

Specific RTC Mentor/Coordinator Mission Objective:

Provide assistance to the RTC Dive Motivator Team to minimize losses from the Warrior Challenge programs due to the transition to RTC.

The person selected for this position will have daily contact with recruits. As such, s/he must adhere to the highest standards of conduct in his/her interface with recruits.

Compensation:
Pay rates competitive and based on experience and skill sets. Housing costs will be provided by the client.

Length of Requirement: 1 year with potential for extension.


Responsibilities
Specific RTC Mentor/Coordinator duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensure that PST testing is administered IAW with established guidelines set forth in OPNAVINST 6110.1H (Physical Readiness Program) as well as demonstrate the points of performance for the exercises associated with the PST, and ensure exercises are being performed to the established standards.
  • Organize, collect analyze and present statistical information related to tracking of PST results for Warrior Challenge sailors, using MILITAPS software.
  • Provide counseling and information to applicants to assist in reclassification. The purpose of this task is to minimize program losses, while ensuring applicants have adequate information to make informed career choices.
  • Reduce "Volunteer Drops" in the Warrior Challenge programs at RTC to less than 10%.
  • Be responsible for delivering qualified recruits to the respective communities' preparatory course/school via RTC by working closely with the Warrior Challenge sailors to maximize their potential in the SEAL/SWCC/EOD/ND/AIRR training pipelines.
  • Serve as liaison between RTC Dive Motivators and contracted Mentors at each NRD to provide feedback and instruction to ensure testing standards are consistent between testing while in DEP program and testing at RTC.

Work Location
For each National Recruiting District (NRD), the Mentor may live anywhere within the selected NRD, but will be responsible for travel to the location of the NRD headquarters


NRDs include:

Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Jacksonville, Los Angeles, Miami, Michigan, Minneapolis, Nashville, New England, New Orleans, New York, Ohio, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Raleigh, Richmond, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St.

Louis, RTC, and CNRC.

Must be prepared to travel to the GCC and NSWC in order to ensure all training standards are relevant and up to date.
