Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with R&D to plan, calculate, and conduct tests on impellers and test gears
  • Modify test stand according to specified test plans and parts lists, including spiral, diffuser, impeller, etc.
  • Procure and review department-specific order documentation and test specifications
  • Plan, calculate, and conduct acceptance tests on thermal turbomachinery: radial compressors and turbines
  • Plan, calculate, and conduct tests on impellers and test gears
  • Determine measurement setup, create and program measurement systems
  • Collect, analyze, and evaluate thermodynamic and mechanical test data
  • Prepare test reports in accordance with API617, ASME PTC10, DIN ISO5389, etc.
  • Present and explain test results to customers
  • Assist departments in resolving identified issues
  • Manage, develop, and procure measurement and testing equipment
  • Perform practical tasks on test setups (measurement setup, test set up, etc.)
  • Develop measurement and calculation software using C / Fortran / VBA
  • Support the Service department in thermodynamic tests
  • Possible occasional international assignments on construction sites
