Job Summary:
The Business Data Analyst is proficient in data analysis, warehousing, and reporting. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining reporting tools that currently support PPS operations.

Strong scripting skills in SQL and Python are essential, as you will be writing queries and data transformation scripts across multiple environments.

Experience with visualization tools also required for presenting insights effectively.


Primary Functional Responsibilities:


  • Collect, analyze, and report business data.
  • Write queries or data transformation scripts using SQL and Python
  • Use large data sets to define KPIs and generate reports in excel, Access, HubSpot, and other like platforms.
  • Build predictive models for the preventative maintenance system.
  • Comply and work corporate IT infrastructure standards and cyber security requirements.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field (master's degree a plus)
  • Experience in data analysis, warehousing, and reporting (35 years preferred)
  • Experience using BI tools (Tableau, Looker) for data visualization and reporting.
  • SQL skills and experience with other programming languages associated with data analytics, including Python and R
  • Experienced in designing userfriendly interfaces.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel proficiency required.
