- Support operational implementation requirements ensuring compliance with information security policy, standards, and guidelines.
- Report any threats, misconfigurations, or anomalies and assist with remediation in some cases.
- Utilizes new technologies and processes to enhance security capabilities and implement improvements.
- Develop automated processes to improve efficiency and detection using existing and open-source tools.
- Ensure timely reporting and remediation of discovered security issues.
- Work with others to help remediate security incidents.
- Conduct frequent testing of simulated cyber-attacks to identify vulnerabilities and subsequently remediate vulnerabilities.
- Keep up with evolving risks, new developments in the security industry, and industry best practices.

- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years in an Information Security role or a similar IT role
- Understanding of security threats and incident response.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, and ability to work with others
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field preferred.
- Related certifications are a plus
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
