    Job Description

    As the Technical Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistency and excellence in performance across our channel partners for Larson, focusing on assembly, installation, troubleshooting, and post-sales interactions. You will lead initiatives aimed at enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction, particularly through effective monitoring processes and empowering our customers with the necessary competencies for successful product utilization.

    • Enhance pre-purchase confidence and knowledge of end-users by:
      • Collaborating with internal teams to develop comprehensive installation instructions, user-friendly videos, and tailored content for both DIYers and Professionals.
      • Working closely with engineering teams to design jigs, fixtures, and installation aids that simplify the process and inspire confidence in consumers.
      • Partnering with wholesale channels and Retailers of Larson to bolster pre-purchase confidence and emphasize the installation experience in line with our long-term vision.
      • Supporting the development of product landing pages on and YouTube to ensure consistent information dissemination.
      • Conducting regular assessments and quality checks on installation materials and processes to maintain high standards.
      • Leading the development of innovative solutions and tools to streamline procedures and enhance the overall installation experience.
      • Collaborating with marketing and sales teams to highlight the improved installation experience as a hallmark of the Larson Storm Doors brand.
      • Providing guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand standards and objectives.
      • Championing customer experience excellence and seeking continuous improvement opportunities to enhance satisfaction and brand loyalty.
    • Assist in the development of installation training and certified installer initiatives.
    • Support marketing and sales organizations with trade shows and other product expos.
    • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, product management, and marketing teams on key initiatives.
    • Provide "Voice of Customer" insights to relevant departments for informed decision-making.
    Qualifications
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in millwork or storm door industry (Retail experience preferred).
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on work experience.
    • Proficiency in developing and implementing large-scale training initiatives.
    • Understanding of door manufacturing, retail, and installation requirements.
    • Proven experience in leading large projects to successful completion.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and capable of reading CAD documents.
    • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to support field activities (average 20-30% travel).
