About:

A top international law firm is seeking an Associate to join its Litigation department in their New York, New York office.

The firm is well established with 7 offices worldwide and a platform of over 400 attorneys. The team has experience working on matters in both national and international disputes. The groups representational experience includes civil fraud, complex cross-border disputes, consumer class action, and multi-district litigation.

Experience:

Experience with all aspects of class action litigation, including drafting and responding to complaints, discovery, motion practice, trials, and appeals, and have strong research and writing skills.
Experience handling highstake litigation for sophisticated clients around the globe.
Familiarity with working on matters at both a national and international level.
Familiarity with managing electronic discovery, including managing document collections and vendors is a plus.
Experience with depositions, motion practice, and handling oral arguments is a plus.
Trial experience is beneficial.
Excellent academic records, as well as superb skills in writing, communication, interpersonal, and analytical.
A relevant Juris Doctorate Degree is a must have.

Responsibilities:

Managing complex disputes, including running discovery.
Drafting and preparing briefs, pleadings, motions, and other documents.
Taking and defending depositions and related work with witnesses and experts.
Working on all aspects of disputes from inception through trial and appeal.
Supporting the team on business development and other litigationrelated matters.

Pay:
From $215,000.00 per year
