Description
As the Director of Social Strategy, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing strategic vision for Fanatics social presence and the social team's relationships with all key stakeholders.
Your primary focus will be to help identify Fanatics Sportsbook's (FBG's) social objectives and goals, and to help develop and execute effective engagement campaigns that align with these objectives.
In this role, you will act as the point of connection between the different internal stakeholders within the wider company, understanding the marketing goals for FBG and helping to identify the opportunities that we can level up to become brand moments.
You will foster and build relationships with your internal social peers as well as with external partners across agency and platform teams in order to ensure we are working towards a common goal and set of KPIs.
The base salary range for this role is $148,000 per year - $185,000 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Responsible for:
- Being a strategic lead on all things social, including the identification of social KPIs and the development of a social strategy and plan to achieve them
- Collaborating with all relevant internal FBG teams, stakeholders and leadership to understand FBG's business goals and marketing objectives and to ensure these are translated into our social strategy
- Collaborating with other social teams across the Fanatics business to (i) facilitate cross brand learning and to (ii) identify and exploit opportunities to increase effectiveness
- Working closely with your content colleagues across the wider Fanatics business to inform, develop and distribute engaging content (including but not limited to digital shows, platforms partnerships and influencer campaigns)
- Working closely with creative teams and agency partners to develop compelling engagement campaigns that are closely tied to FBG's planned advertising campaigns
- Overseeing the execution of campaigns, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget
- Effectively managing the social budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve campaign objectives
- Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance in collaboration with our agency partners, providing the wider team and stakeholders with regular updates and insights
- Creating a framework for the social and content team to facilitate data and analytics to optimize campaigns and improve results
- Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to deliver strategic improvements to planned activity
- Leading the social team with a people first approach and a forensic focus on people development Being a thought leader on all things content and social and playing a crucial leadership role across the wider content and social team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media and brand marketing, with a focus on strategic planning and campaign execution (45 year's experience)
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, or a related field strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment
- Excellent people leadership skills
