- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Lead a small 3 person engineering team to ensure project objectives are met.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, resolving technical issues and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, management, and cross-functional teams, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns promptly.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet or exceed customer expectations and adhere to project specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements and innovation initiatives to enhance project efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including design documents, engineering drawings, and project reports, to facilitate project tracking and knowledge transfer.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of engineering principles, design methodologies, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards, such as ISO, ASME, or ASTM.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
