- Demonstrates technical competency by performing a wide variety of laboratory techniques. These include moderate to highly complex tests.
- Demonstrates sufficient knowledge and skills to independently operate instrumentation and/or assigned benches.
- Operates all department equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Performs preventative maintenance and troubleshoots instruments failures.
- Meet continuing education requirements.
- Participates in activities that demonstrate professionalism, a commitment to competency and career growth.
- Performs a variety of routine tests and procedures, performs instrument maintenance procedures, perform routine quality control procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned to assure efficient operations of department, including covering other lab sections.

The department's fast-paced team-oriented atmosphere creates an environment that is progressive, challenging and rewarding-both personally and professionally.Full-time, part-time and per-diem opportunities available in Blood Bank, Core Lab, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Virology, Immunology and Flow Cytometry. Shift availability and weekend rotations vary by department.
