    Responsibilities

    Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

    Responsibilities Include but not limited to:

    • Lead Office MEP BIM standards, project setup, and training.
    • Actively seek out improved workflows and strategies for delivering work.
    Evaluate, implement, and train on any technology integration for project

    development/execution

    for future projects (ex:
    Holobuilder, LiDAR Scan)


    • Prepare BIM Program/Project Execution Plans that comply with client submission requirements.
    • Ensure contractor compliance with submission requirements.
    • Review adequacy of contractor equipment, materials, and supplies to ensure compliance with project(s) schedule(s)
    • Schedule and conduct job meetings with contractors, consultants to discuss procedures, performance, progress, coordination, and clash detection, scheduling, and related issues.
    • Provide BIM-based project controls progress tracking and reporting.
    • Assist with developing BIM constructability and feasibility studies.
    • Assist with model validation checks on models submitted by external parties.
    • Perform basic Revit modeling for gaps in geometry and temporary structures of the models.
    • Maintain mappings from BIM to other construction data systems.
    • Respond to CAD/BIM team emergencies and provide solutions for other teams.
    • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the industry and developing technologies.
    • Manage the flow of CAD/BIM files from engineers and drafters between offices.
    • Prepare and maintain working drawings for current CAD/BIM projects.
    • Produce CAD/BIM documents using traditional drafting methods as well as BIM.
    • Responsible for day-to-day BIM, project delivery, and quality control tasks.
    • Provide quality control and checking of Specialist work on BIM projects.
    • Ensure project delivery follows the scope and identify potential out of scope items.
    Requirements

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management
    • 5-8 years experience in the AEC Industry
    • EIT Certification preferred
    • Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD experience
    • Experience in 4D scheduling
    • Experience with 5D/7D BIM
    • Understanding of construction drawings and specifications
    • Understanding of construction scheduling and estimating
