ATMI Precast, a prominent Midwest manufacturer and builder of significant precast concrete structures, is in search of a Project Manager to oversee and accelerate projects, ensuring the fulfillment of technical, quality, cost, schedule, and customer requisites.


The ATMI Project Manager acts as the primary representative of the Company, delivering exceptional service that surpasses Customer expectations. This individual is a proactive leader who thrives in a team-oriented setting. Taking full responsibility for their tasks, they lead Projects from start to finish across all divisions, serving as the main point of contact for project know-how. The Project Manager fosters a culture of high performance, upholds Company and departmental endeavors, and ensures both personal and team accountability for delivering top-notch results.

Responsibilities encompass a complete range of typical project management duties including:


  • Project Planning
:

Comprehending and examining all bid documents, construction drawings, specifications, and scope. Evaluating all project intelligence, addressing and handling all potential risks preemptively.

  • Project Scheduling
:

Developing, revising, and overseeing the project schedule with specific critical points necessary for success.

  • Project Reporting
:

Providing weekly project updates to the Director of Project Management. Furnishing the project team with precise and punctual information.

  • Contract and Change Order Administration
:

Overseeing project contracts from receipt to completion. Negotiating contracts while recognizing risks. Ensuring adherence to project terms throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Billing and Collections
  • Customer Relations
  • Project Closeout

Requirements:


Education and Experience

  • Graduate of a certified institution with a degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or equivalent practical background.
  • A minimum of 510 years of project management experience in the commercial construction field.
  • Demonstrated capability to represent the company effectively among industry and professional colleagues.
  • Proficiency in interpreting construction documents and shop drawings.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and meet set deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong computer skills. Proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Tekla, and Trimble products is advantageous.
  • Ability to commute within the plant or jobsite environment. Periodic travel mandated (within 150 miles of Aurora, IL).
  • Capable of occasionally lifting and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Willingness to work in varying outdoor conditions including adverse weather, heat, humidity, and exposure to dust whenever necessary.
