    Description

    Job Title: Senior Rental Auditor

    Location: Myrtle Beach, SC (ONSITE REQUIRED)

    What You Will Be Doing: As the Senior Rental Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our rental operations. If you possess a passion for meticulous analysis, a deep understanding of rental management, and a successful track record in implementing audit strategies, we invite you to join our dynamic team.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Audit Oversight: Lead comprehensive audits of rental transactions and financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    2. Data Review: Identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for improvement in rental operations. Implement corrective actions to optimize financial performance.
    3. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance rental management processes, implementing best practices and streamlining audit procedures for increased efficiency.
    4. Compliance: Stay informed about industry regulations and legal requirements related to rental operations. Ensure that rental practices align with legal standards and company policies.
    5. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of rental audit professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture. Provide guidance on complex audit issues and promote continuous professional development.
    6. Reporting: Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on audit findings, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management. Collaborate with other departments to implement necessary changes.
    Who You Will Be Working With: You will report directly to the Senior Vice President- Yield & Rental Management, working closely with other department heads, property managers, and audit specialists to uphold the highest standards of rental accuracy and compliance.

    Job Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in rental audit, financial analysis, or related fields.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and senior management.
    • Detail-oriented and hands-on approach to tasks, with a commitment to accuracy.
    • Proficiency in using independent judgment and making sound decisions.
    • Familiarity with property management systems and rental software is advantageous.
