Description

ABCO Transportation is seeking an energetic and outgoing
Driver Recruiter to facilitate the driver recruiting process and exceed company goals

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Recruit, screen, interview and hire qualified Class A Drivers
Screen and interview applicants via phone to obtain work history, education, training and skills
Provide information on company and job opportunities to potential applicants
Complete background screenings including pulling MVR and DAC reports
Complete retention calls to current drivers to build and maintain relationships
Track call and hire data generated from multiple sources

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment; attention to detail critical
Ability to communicate effectively both in person and on the phone with customers, internal and external business partners and drivers providing concise instruction or information
Ability to manage complex transactional or emotional customer situations promptly and professionally meeting commitments for service and assistance
Ability to develop relations with internal and external drivers and business partners
Ability to adhere to all company, state and federal regulations, policies and procedures
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; bilingual Spanish a plus

Summary of Qualifications/Requirements:

Experienced in interviewing and selecting qualified drivers.
Interviewing skills to include the ability to listen and analyze answers and ask appropriate questions
Strong organizational/communication/logístical skills with solid problem solving abilities
Ability to prioritize work load and attention to detail
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
Previous Recruiting Class A Drivers in multiple states preferred
Prior experience with Tenstreet ATS and McLeod Software a plus.

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
