The corporate safety manager works to prevent workplace accidents and promotes health and safety awareness and education to fellow employees across four bakeries and support locations.
My client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality Retail & Foodservice food products.Create and implement workplace health and safety plans and procedures.
# Evaluate health and safety practices and procedures for risk assessment and following legal guidelines.
# Develop and conduct safety training across four bakeries.
# Partner with leadership at the bakeries to develop a culture and supporting practices of zero accidents.
# Manage workers compensation claims for workplace accidents.
# Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures.
# Monitors compliance with safety procedures and ensures compliance with federal regulations.
# Analyzes safety data and trends and develops plans based on the analysis.
BA/BS degree with a minimum of 5 years working in Safety, Health & Environment.
Minimum 5 years' experience in manufacturing environment
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Extensive knowledge of safety regulations and policies
