Description
Above Summit is a Somerville-based video and photography studio specializing in aerial and film production.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Social Media Manager who is effective at growing brand presence on social platforms, managing digital assets, campaigns and Google ads, as well as direct B2B interaction.

This position would begin as a part-time position with the possibility of growing into a full-time position.

MARKETING / ADVERTISING RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create, coordinate and implement short and longterm marketing strategies
  • Monitor and improve SEO, website traffic and performance

SOCIAL MEDIA RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing multiple priorities simultaneously and meets deadlines
  • Managing and organizing digital assets (stock archive, website & social media)
  • Creating innovative social media strategies, marketing plans and media tactics
  • Ability to create content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
  • Analyzing data to inform future content and posting strategies on a regular basis
  • Understanding the latest social media trends and advancements
  • Capturing behind the scenes (BTS) on production set
  • Provide basic photo, video and graphic editing required for upkeep of digital assets

REQUIREMENTS:


  • 2+ years of marketing, social media & advertising experience
  • Experience with Google Adwords / Google Analytics / SEO
  • Lead & manage team related tasks
  • Work independently, critically and creatively
  • Must have strong verbal and writing skills
  • Adapt and produce results in a fast paced environment
  • Working knowledge of film production is a plus
As a small production team, we often wear the many hats required in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

There will be many opportunities to expand upon your primary role and transition into a more specific area of interest as we continue to grow.

That said, your initial job responsibilities are split into two main areas of focus - marketing and social media. Both go hand in hand and are the front line of our production studio. You will be directly responsible for shaping our brand identity and direction.

You will also be responsible for representing our brand identity and its capabilities to a wide range of clients and the public audience.

Any experience in a video production / agency environment is a plus.
