Description

• Performs prequalification assessment and analysis of financial risk and condition of applicants.
• Obtain all available and necessary financial data from the credit file or outside parties.
• Spread and analyze financial information of applicants review and evaluate the information, underwrite credit memorandums and present financing request to senior management or Loan Committee for approval.
• Coordinates processing of approved loans; ensures loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs and conform to lending policies; obtains sufficient information and/or documentation from customers.
• Solves problems relative to processing and servicing of loans within his or her portfolio.
• Provides leadership, training & review work completed by less experienced underwriters and other staff members.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in finance, or a related field.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and tax returns
• Good communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusion.
