THE OPPORTUNITY:
The responsibility of the warehouse and logistics manager will be to develop and lead high functioning teams, manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory, select carriers for transportations and negotiate rates and contracts with carriers, keep up-to- date on shipping carriers, routes and rates and any changes that may occur, achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching and assuring quality of goods, measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance, communicate job expectations and coach employees, Interface with customers to answer questions or solve problems, identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjusting existing work procedures and practices, communicate with other departments.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
High School Diploma / GED required.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Logistics, supply chain management in a wholesale environment.
Superior customer service skills
Strong Leadership Skills
A customer service-oriented personality
Honesty and a strong work ethic
Strong computer skills
Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques

Salary commensurate with experience
We offer an attractive benefit package for full time employees. This includes **75% employer paid medical through Presbyterian Health Plan (both employee and dependents), 100% employer paid dental, Life, AD&D, and LTD coverage, PTO, and 3% 401k contribution regardless of personal deferral**. Voluntary benefits such as vision, additional life and AD&D coverage are available as well.
