    Unknown at this time (Napa/Solano)


    FTE:
    0.5, 20 hours for clinical supervision (potential for 1.0 FTE at 40 hours/week if candidate is willing to provide IBH direct services)

    Established in 2023, CommuniCare+OLE is the result of a union of two health centers with a deep roots in their respective communities and reputations for providing high-quality primary care to all, regardless of insurance or ability to pay: OLE Health of Napa and Solano Counties and CommuniCare Health Centers of Yolo County.

    Building on a legacy established by both organizations in 1972, CommuniCare+OLE is a network of federally-qualified health centers with 17 sites across Napa, Solano, and Yolo Counties.

    It offers comprehensive care, including medical, dental, behavioral health and substance use treatment, nutrition, optometry, pharmacy, care coordination, referrals, and enrollment assistance to more than 70,000 individuals, and no one is turned away due to lack of insurance, immigration status, or ability to pay.

    Many services are offered outside of its sites, including mobile health, home visiting, and community and school-based programs.


    KNOWLEDGE OF WORK


    Must have knowledge of the current Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders and ability to accurately use this knowledge to determine best diagnoses, inform treatment planning and decide appropriate therapeutic modality.


    Knowledge of ethical standards that supervisors and supervisees consider regarding their respective roles and professional boundaries as part of the supervisory relationship: informed consent, confidentiality, competence, non-exploitation and record keepingKnowledge of evidence-based practices and measurement-based careKnowledge of California Board of Behavioral Health Sciences regulations related to providing supervision to associates.

    Knowledge of crisis intervention, applicable laws and ethical consideration related to client rights, treatment, safety, and confidentiality

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Utilizes skills in biopsychosocial assessment, case conceptualization, differential diagnosis, clinical documentation, collaborative treatment planning, and supportive discharge to provide a robust supervisory experience to associate providers.

    Demonstrates an understanding of differing therapeutic modalities and is able to offer guidance on interventions across the lifespan.
    Provides individual, triadic, and group clinical supervision for associate providers by video and/or in-person.

    Ensures associates understand and meet legal and ethical requirements including those pertaining to clinical documentation, fraud, mandated reporting, confidentiality, and danger to self and others.

    Monitors caseloads, client acuity and risk factors, and supports efforts to meet the department's client access and productivity standards.
    Provides a supervisory experience that is distinctly different from psychotherapy.

    Reviews and co-signs clinical documentation per agency and BBS guidelines, provides positive and developmental feedback as needed (written feedback at least once per year).Contributes to 90-day and annual performance reviews in collaboration with associate's supervisorIdentifies training and development needs of associates and facilitates departmental/agency training in partnership with clinical program managers.

    Provides clinical supervision to master's level students on an as needed basis.

    Adheres to all California Board of Behavioral Sciences rules and regulations related to providing clinical supervision to associatesDemonstrates cultural humility and respect when working with any employee, client, or community partner.

    Takes responsibility for educating self on themes related to human diversity.
    May assume direct clinical service as needed depending on workload.
    Maintains current license/registration in good standing, submits all CEU and training certifications to Human Resources.

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
    Current California Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Professional Clinical Counselor required. Must be licensed in California for at least two years out of the last five years prior to providing supervision
    At least four years post master's degree providing direct clinical service to clients across the lifespan required
    Two years post licensure providing clinical supervisory experience required.
    Completed a minimum of 15 hours of supervision as per the California Board of Behavioral Sciences regulations
    Strong knowledge of BBS regulations related to supervising associate providers preferred
    Knowledge of integrated behavioral health program models and implementation preferred.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) language preferred.
    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills required; ability to handle difficult patient situations.
    Computer skills including Microsoft Office required; electronic health record system preferred.
    Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Must certify and remain current in CPR.
