    About the Role

    Engauge Workforce Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused On-Site HR Coordinator to support HR, recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts directly at one of our client's manufacturing locations.

    This position functions as an extension of the client's HR team and plays a vital role in building a stable, reliable workforce while ensuring a positive experience for both employees and hiring teams.

    This is a high-impact role responsible for improving hiring outcomes, supporting production leadership, strengthening employee engagement, and helping reduce turnover through proactive HR support.

    Key Responsibilities
    Recruiting & Talent Pipeline Support


    • Manage the on-site recruiting pipeline including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communication.
    • Maintain accurate candidate documentation and ensure timely submissions to the client's hiring team.
    • Participate in recruiting strategy discussions and provide regular updates on hiring activity.
    • Support on-site hiring events, career fairs, and community outreach.
    • Conduct exit interviews and identify trends to help reduce turnover.
    • Develop and maintain tracking methods focused on monitoring and improving turnover rates.
    • Prepare and manage recruiting-related reports, dashboards, and performance updates.
    Onboarding & New Hire Experience


    • Facilitate a high-touch onboarding process including first-day check-ins and follow-up support during the first 90 days.
    • Ensure completion and accuracy of HR, onboarding, and compliance documents.
    • Conduct site orientation, issue PPE, and introduce new hires to their work areas.
    • Coordinate hiring assessments and testing as required.
    • Track new-hire progress and relay early performance or attendance concerns.
    Employee Relations & Retention


    • Serve as the primary on-site contact for employee support and HR inquiries.
    • Coach employees regarding attendance expectations, policies, and performance.
    • Provide unbiased guidance when addressing employee concerns or conflicts.
    • Conduct stay interviews and implement retention-focused engagement initiatives.
    • Maintain strong visibility on the production floor to gather real-time feedback.
    • Identify internal advancement opportunities and advocate for qualified employees.
    HR Systems, Documentation & Reporting


    • Accurately maintain employee and candidate records across HR systems and tracking tools.
    • Update recruitment reports, onboarding logs, turnover data, and status trackers.
    • Uphold confidentiality and compliance in all HR-related processes.
    Safety & Compliance


    • Train new hires on safety protocols and ensure PPE compliance.
    • Maintain PPE inventory and coordinate distribution.
    • Conduct periodic safety walkthroughs and reinforce safety expectations.
    Qualifications


    • 2+ years of experience in HR, recruiting, staffing, or workforce coordination (manufacturing environment preferred).
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams.
    • Experience with HRIS/ATS systems, spreadsheets, and general office software.
    • Ability to walk/stand within a production environment and lift up to 25 lbs.
