    Description
    Mentor and develop the Benefit Administration team while monitoring day to day processes
    Meet with staff on a regular basis to evaluate workflow, challenges, projects and progress
    Create a multi-year benefits strategy including short-term and long-range plans and budgets based on broad corporate goals, acquisitions, strategic planning and growth objectives
    Partner with brokers on the annual review process, including but not limited to reviewing comprehensive financial analysis, benchmarking, and propose recommended plan changes
    Presents prior year financial results and new annual budgets to executive leadership

    Evaluate and analyze the results of the programs and services regularly and systematically; reports these results to the HR leadership team in addition to other management reporting such as benefits utilization, financial costs, etc.

    Plan and direct the implementation and administration of benefits and wellness programs
    Oversee vendor management, including contracting, value review and annual renewals
    Oversee the contractual management of the Waller, TX in-house medical clinic
    Develop and implement proactive communication strategies to maximize the value of benefits to the employees and the organization
    Coordinate the activity of the investment review committee for the company financial plans such as 401(k) and deferred compensation
    Directly support functions by providing benefit support, information records, claims, etc.
    Manage the Benefit Administration in the company's HRIS system (UKG Pro) and vendor file feeds
    Strategize on and set up structure for annual open enrollment process
    Facilitate periodic audits of benefit plans and processes in order to ensure accurate and effective administration and identify opportunities for efficiencies
    Participate in additional activities as assigned
    Qualifications
    Strong leadership and team management skills
    Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft Office products
    Knowledge of all federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee benefits
    Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data
    Excellent business and financial acumen.
    Holds oneself accountable for high personal standards of conduct and professionalism
    Ability to lead, motivate, and empower the team members to achieve results/resolution
    Proficiency in building and maintaining good working relationships with subject matter experts and key stakeholders

    Experience:
    10 – 15 years of benefits experience including in-depth knowledge and understanding of employee benefits administration, including knowledge of medical, dental, life, disability, vision, STD, LTD, FSA, , and 401(k) plans, as well as knowledge of benefit regulations and compliance (including ERISA, FMLA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA and similar federal, state and local regulations)
    Five years of related experience in an HR leadership role
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or other related field
    SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential
    CEBS certification
