Echo Tech Job Details – Ithaca, NY

• Location: Ithaca, NY New York healthcare job)
  
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2380–$2550
  
• Assignment Length: 5 or 6 weeks (flexible based on availability)
  
• Start Date: November 4, 2024
  
• Shift: Day shifts, 5x8 hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday)
  
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  
• No call, no weekends
  
• Adult patients only (18+)
  

Echo Tech Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonographer
  
• Certification in Cardiac Sonography (Echo Tech) – required
  
• Experience in vascular sonography – required
  
• Proficient in administering and performing pre- and post-imaging for cardiac stress tests, capturing images within 90 seconds post-test
  
• Experience with Epic EMR – preferred
  
• Strong communication and organizational skills
  

Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular sonography on adult patients (18+)
  
• Float between multiple hospital and clinical sites as needed
  
• Administer cardiac stress tests and conduct all required imaging before, during, and after procedures
  
• Capture post-stress test images within 90 seconds
  
• Accurately document findings in the Epic EMR system
  
• Collaborate with the cardiology and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
