    Ithaca, NY (Ithaca Mall Heart and Vascular Clinic & Cortland clinic) – New York healthcare jobs

    Assignment

    Duration:
    13 weeks (12/23/2024 – 3/24/2025)


    Schedule:
    5x8 hour day shifts (Monday–Friday, no weekends, no on-call)


    Guaranteed Hours:
    40 hours per week


    Estimated Weekly Pay:
    $2,380–$2,550 per week


    Patient Population:
    Adults (18+), Cardiac specialty


    Travel Requirement:
    Reliable transportation required for commuting between Ithaca and Cortland (mileage reimbursed)

    Echo Tech Qualifications

    Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Tech or Cardiac Sonographer

    Current Echo Tech certification (ARDMS or CCI)

    Experience with adult cardiac imaging and stress tests

    Ability to administer and image stress tests (training provided if needed)

    EPIC EMR experience preferred

    Ability to capture pre- and post-stress test images within 90 seconds post-test

    Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

    Echo Tech Responsibilities

    Perform echocardiograms and cardiac sonography procedures for adult patients

    Float between Ithaca Mall Heart and Vascular Clinic and Cortland clinic locations

    Administer and monitor cardiac stress tests, including pre- and post-imaging

    Document findings and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC EMR

    Collaborate with cardiologists and clinical healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care

    Provide compassionate care and clear communication to cardiac patients
