    Sleep Tech Qualifications

    At least 1 year of experience as a Sleep Technologist or Polysomnographic Technologist (PSG Tech)

    Current New York State license required

    Polysomnographic Technologist (PSG Tech) certification

    Experience with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) preferred

    Ability to work overnight and weekend shifts in a hospital setting

    Sleep Technologist Responsibilities

    Conduct overnight sleep studies and monitor patients in the hospital Sleep Center

    Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep study equipment and technology

    Accurately document patient data and sleep study results using EPIC EMR

    Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care

    Maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for patients throughout their stay
