SENIOR ACCOUNTANT; North Bergen, NJ
$80K-$85K DOE + benefits, bonus and ESOP Equity Plan

The Senior Accountant role requires a "hands on" accounting professional who will manage all General Accounting functions for multiple divisions of a corporation with wholesale, retail and E-Commerce channels of business within the manufacturing and distribution industries.

Responsibilities
Perform corporate bank account reconciliations and submit to Executive Management
Post and maintain Journal Entries and review financial statements, submitting analyses to Executive Management
Manage recording of all corporate banking transactions and perform balance sheet reconciliations
Perform month-end close process and all GL Accounting functions
Preparation of documents and assist external accountants with external and bank audits
Assist with payroll processing and with month/year-end reconciliations and reporting
Process monthly sales commission calculations and submit to Department Managers
Provide assistance with preparation of 1099 reporting and with federal/state/local entity registrations
Requirements
BS or BA degree in Accounting from accredited four year university
5 + yrs accounting experience

within manufacturing/distribution industries a MUST
Prior accounting experience within a multi-entity corporate setting, apparel industry experience highly preferred
GL Accounting, Journal Entry, month-end close and balance sheet analysis skills
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills and deadline driven
Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team
High level of accuracy with attention to detail in fast paced environment
Ability to adapt to multi-shifting priorities effectively and accurately
Strong organizational skills required and intercompany transaction skills highly preferred
Proficient in MS Dyn GP and/or additional ERP software programs required
Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and knowledge of MS Suite of programs
