Are you passionate about developing renewable energy sites in Barberton?

We are excited to offer this opportunity on behalf of a leading global renewable energy producer with a presence in multiple countries around the world.

This role will focus on leading essential initiatives to advance future wind projects in North Germany, in line with company directives. The goal is to expand, develop, enhance, and strengthen the wind portfolio, ensuring successful execution of the business plan.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify new and suitable locations through personal research or data provided by the GIS Team, working with both public and private entities.
  • Build and maintain a network of land scouts and originators in Germany.
  • Evaluate projects for potential integration into the ongoing development process.
  • Negotiate and finalize lease agreements to secure land.
  • Represent the company with local public and private entities, government services, and communities to introduce the business and ensure the social viability of projects.
  • Initiate the environmental permitting process by coordinating with licensed planning offices and utilizing internal resources as needed based on future demands and projections.

REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:

  • At least 8 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on wind development in the DACH region.
