3M Maintenance Technician Maintenance and User Operational Support Services

Scope of work:
To provide Maintenance and Material Management Technician Maintenance and User Operational Support Services to units under Commander, Naval Construction Group Two (NCG2) in Gulfport, MS. NCG2 has a requirement for Command Communications Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Maintenance Technicians to support the systems and supporting equipment whose functions will include user operational work, subject matter expert consultation, help desk support, and limited user instruction.

Daily Tasks & Responsibilities:

Apply policies and directives prescribed by higher authority. Read, interpret and ensure compliance with publications, instructions, notices, local directives and changes thereto as appropriate in accordance with 3M.
Support daily work center day to day operations by performing maintenance work, phone calls, emails, and attending meetings.
Perform necessary maintenance actions on all applicable equipment; document as required.
Meet with Equipment WCS to update the equipment status.
Review, verify, and approve weekly reports originated within the Work Center.
Support NCG2's 5 ECD subordinate units with assistance/guidance on communications equipment maintenance (3M Program) IAW 4790, Organizational Maintenance Management Systems-Next Generation (OMMS-NG), and SKED.
Access SKED and assist WCS to document accomplishment/non-accomplishment of all maintenance requirements.
Perform necessary maintenance for AN/PRC-152 maintenance (AN/PRC-152 Series Radio Set, AN/VRC-110 (V) 1 Vehicular Radio Communications System).
Perform necessary maintenance for AN/PRC-157 maintenance (AN/PRC-157 Series Radio Set).
Perform necessary maintenance for RF-310 maintenance (RF-310 Series Radio Set).
Perform necessary maintenance for AN/PRC-160 maintenance (AN/PRC-160 Series Radio Set, AN/VRC-104 (V) 1, 2, 3, 4 Vehicular Radio Communications System).
Perform necessary maintenance for HF Base Station (201) maintenance.
Perform necessary maintenance for Power Supply maintenance (RF-5051-PS/RF-5054-PS Power Supply).
Perform necessary maintenance for antenna maintenance (NSW Communications Antenna).
Perform necessary maintenance for Uninterrupted Power Supply (Universal Power System 2000TR-IV) battery load capacity.
Perform necessary maintenance for Test Equipment Maintenance.
Perform necessary maintenance for KIK-11 maintenance (Security Equipment Systems, KIK-11 Tactical Key Loader).
Ensure equipment is cycled properly in support of all PM requirements.
Review all reports and provide feedback to subordinate units.
Verify all completed PM, generate Summary Report and verify against PMS Performance Report.
Provide reports on help desk activity to higher authority Naval Construction Group (NCG)/Naval Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC) as required.

Qualifications:

A High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent.
Four (4) years of experience in Maintenance, Material and Management workstation and user operator experience/expertise for tactical communications equipment.
Technical Writer/Operator expertise in tactical communications equipment.
Four (4) years of experience in understanding Technical Manuals, Communication Information System Manuals, Tactical Communication Manuals, and directives or instructions and procedures.
Three (3) years of experience in managing multiple priorities, meet deadlines, exercise initiative in gathering, assembling, collate, and analyzing information for completion of projects.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service.
Sufficient knowledge, skill, and experience in maintaining and operating and performing Level I & II maintenance on tactical radio systems.
Be a U.S Citizen (proof of citizenship required).
A Secret clearance or Interim secret clearance verified by contractor. (A background investigation will be conducted)
