May 25th, 2024 # openings: 5 Location: Gulfport, MS S2Technologies is seeking a skilled Computer Support Technician to support the Naval Construction Battalion Center (NCBC), Naval Construction Group 2 (NCG2)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform technician maintenance and user operational work as a 3M maintenance technician.
Perform necessary 3M for NECC Enterprise Tactical Command and Control Local Area Network Suite (NETC2), Rapid response Kit (RRK), Expeditionary Data Network (EDN) and Tactical Data Network (TDN) maintenance.
Perform necessary system patching for NETC2, RRK, and EDN maintenance.Perform necessary system scanning for NETC2, RRK, and EDN maintenance.
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN maintenance Event Logs.
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN Host Based Security System (HBSS) #1 McAfee check and review updates.
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN VMware ESXi.
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN VMware Data Recovery Module
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN Window Services.
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN Control Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS).
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN MAIL/ESG/OWA Procedures.
Perform necessary maintenance for NETC2, RRK, and EDN clean up procedures.
Perform necessary updates for NETC2, RRK, and EDN and TDN maintenance.
Perform maintenance test on HAWKEYE III Lite Satellite antenna.
Perform maintenance test on HAWKEYE III Lite Satellite Auto-Acquire Limits.
Perform inspection of system processing and communications components, cables, connections, and transit cases.
Experience: 4 years of experience in 3M workstation and user operator experience for Tactical Data Networks (TDN), Enterprise Tactical Command and Control Local Area Network Suite (NETC2), Rapid Response Key (RRK), and/or Expeditionary Deployable Node (EDN).
Technical writing experience in tactical data network systems.4 years of experience with Technical Manuals; Communication Information System Manuals, Tactical Communication Manuals; and directives, instructions, and/or procedures.
2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite
2 years of experience with basic computer networking hardware (i.e., switches, routers, blade server, net app, firewalls, etc.) and software (i.e., Windows 10, VMWare, MS Shareware, MS Server 2012, MS Scanner, etc.).
Do you have an Active Secret Clearance or higher?Do you have a HS Diploma or GED equivalent?
Education:
High School Diploma or General Education Equivalent
Certifications:
S. Citizen
Security+ or equivalent qualifications (i.e., Information System Maintenance Technician [731A], Information System Security Manager [741A], or Network Security Vulnerability Technician [ 742A])
CISSP eligible with CEU requirements
Security Clearance:
Active Secret Clearance
