Your task:

You will be responsible for organizing and coordinating the financial support of independent youth welfare providers for services according to §§ 11-16 SGB VIII in the Youth Office.

You will advise independent youth welfare providers on the possibility of funding their services and monitor the implementation of requirements.
You will ensure the implementation and compliance with funding guidelines and criteria, and regularly evaluate and update them.
Efficient management of all tasks in the funding process, as well as reviewing completed usage reports in the subsidy area.
You will create funding overviews and prepare decision proposals for the city council and its committees.
As part of the funding process, you will be responsible for your own projects (application review, approval, disbursement, usage report review). You will also handle appeals.
Within project groups and expert committees, you will actively contribute to the further development of funding programs.

What you bring:

Completed university degree in general administration or completion of Angestelltenlehrgang II or a degree as a Verwaltungs-Betriebswirt (VWA)
Or a degree in business administration or an equivalent degree in the financial sector
Experience in handling and accounting for funding is desirable
Strong affinity for numbers
Ability to grasp and coordinate complex issues
Independent, structured work style, as well as team, communication, and consensusbuilding skills
