    Job Description

    We are seeking a CPA Firm Administrator to join VWC in Kirkland, WA. As the Firm Administrator, you will be responsible for the organized and efficient day-to-day operations of the firm which includes planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the firm and for implementation of firm policies. This position is FT/Mon-Fri and expected to be in the office 3 days each week.

    Duties:

    • Oversee all aspects of office operations, including facilities management, website, as well as managing the administrative and IT departments.
    • Create office procedures.
    • Oversee the coordination of office activities including trainings, team building events and meetings.
    • Oversee the office space and oversight of Firm move including spatial planning and workstation set up.
    • Oversee AP and budget preparation.
    • Support firm initiatives such as succession planning, mentorship programs and firm planning.
    • Manage HR functions, including benefits, recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and employee relations.
    • Oversee and participate in all firm partner-level meetings including drafting agendas and documenting the meetings. Support Partner group as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards.
    • Stay updated on changes in regulations and industry best practices.
    • In coordination with the Broker, oversee Firm Insurance.
    • Support marketing efforts as needed.
    • Maintain the company website with support from relevant departments.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
    • Five to ten years related experience and/or training working in administration in an office setting and strong HR skills.
    • Leadership abilities, including supervisory and team-building skills.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Superior oral and written communication skills.
    • Professional and courteous with a positive attitude. Strong knowledge and understanding of CPA firm administration
    • Prior experience in a professional office setting.
    • Ability to pass a background check (includes criminal and credit) upon receiving and accepting an employment offer.
