Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead data analytics capabilities to drive vision, process, and overall data insights
  • Respond to requests for data for analysis purposes
  • Champion the use of new tools and techniques to maximize big data opportunities and leverage latest data engineering thinking and techniques
  • Create new datadriven approaches for the purpose of generating business insights through data analytics, automation, and data visualization
  • Provide delivery guidance for various technology areas within data management, business intelligence and analytics
  • Explore advanced big data analytics in emerging areas such as machine learning and artificial intelligence
  • Develop and maintain an enterprise data strategy and technology roadmap reflecting both client needs and technology innovations
  • Build team and individual capabilities by providing development opportunities

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Fouryear degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 10 Years+ supervisory experience in a business intelligence, Data Science, Data Analytics or Data Engineering product environment.
  • Indepth understanding of iterative software development practices and related technological advances as a whole.
  • Demonstrate understanding of financial reporting and financial impact of business decisions.
  • Project management experience is preferred, both Agile and Waterfall methods.

Additional Information:


  • Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer, mouse, drawing tablet, and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
  • Staff may be required to travel and have a valid driver's license.
  • This position requires an active commitment to the mission and values of SMI. In the course of performing job duties, the employee will act in a manner that is Christhonoring as well as Christlike, demonstrating a personal Christian faith and witness in all interpersonal interactions.

Full-time benefits include: Health benefits, Retirement, Paid Time Off
**Starting Pay Range: $111,500-$143,800. Starting pay is based off of qualifications and experience.
