Qualifications:


  • Welding Certificate Cert. D1.1 & D1.8,
  • Bilingual,
  • Clean driving Record.
  • Able to lift 40 pounds & Rigging,
  • Welding test Req. & validate said Exp.,
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen,
  • Must have own tools and tool bag,
  • Fluxcore Welding Exp. on structural steel ornamental steel,
  • Steel Erection,
  • Oxy cutting torch,
  • Help fellow Ironworkers as required,
  • Positive attitude, good character, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Install safety line and posts,
  • Erecting Steel columns, beams, girders, trusses, joists, etc.
  • Installing stairs, landings, rails, and guardrails. Welding all rails & rail returns,
  • Able to read, understand and evaluate shop drawings (blueprints) preferred.
  • Cut, position, and bold down steel bars to reinforce concrete.

Experience:


  • Welding (ornamental steel detail erector)
  • Heavy equipment operation (preferred)
  • General Construction (preferred)
  • 2+ years of field experience installing structural steel and ornamental steel,
  • OSHA, Rigger, fire watch experience.
