Clinical Support Specialist- Remote **Description**
: **JOB SUMMARY**
The employee will provide administrative support to senior and professional staff within Population Health, which consists of Utilization Management, Case Management and Administrative Support. This positon consists of the following roles and responsibilities, but are not limited to.
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Processes to support Clinical Team such as communicate directly with Conifer clients to ascertain member information, clinical data, and/or other information. Verify member eligibility, create member episodes within CCOO, monitor opened episodes and close per criteria.
Rhode Island: Utilize TCS-Acuity to identify members for outreach to arrange appointments with RN/LICSW/ LCSW, while managing their calendars for these appointments
Performs various clerical duties such as sorting correspondence, filing, photocopying and scanning and indexing documents. Mail printing, tracking and distribution.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
**Qualifications**
: **Conifer requires its candidates, as applicable and as permitted by law, to obtain and provide confirmation of all required vaccinations and screenings prior to the start of employment. This may include, but is not limited to, the COVID-19 vaccination, influenza vaccination, and/or any future required vaccines and screenings.**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
Utilization of CONIFER service products to aid in client delivery
Communicate directly with Conifer clients to ascertain member information, clinical data and/or other information
Create member episodes for the Nursing staff
Verify member eligibility
Monitor opened member episodes and close per criteria
Billing reconciliation
Assisting with Professional Licensing and Accreditation
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
Development and maintenance of tracking reports
Assisting with Quality Management projects
Assisting and or developing presentation materials
Utilize Microsoft office, word, excel, power point and other products
Other duties as assigned
Ability to learn clinical platforms/applications necessary to complete assigned tasks
**EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE**
*Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience required to perform the job.*
Associates Degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred; with two to three years experience in a similar setting.
Basic medical knowledge is a plus.
