As part of our
direct placement services, we are currently seeking a motivated and open-minded employee in the
payroll and travel expense accounting department for a well-known and international company in
Hamburg, near the Volksparkstadion.

Responsibilities:

  • Travel expense management: Review and approval of employee travel expense reports, as well as account reconciliation
  • Preparation of monthly payroll for approximately 300 union employees and nonunion employees
  • Verification of electronic time sheets and sick leave certificates, taking into account factors such as parental leave, maternity leave, parttime and fulltime employment, and shift allowances
  • Serviceoriented support and advice for employees on tax, social security, and collective bargaining law matters
  • Independent processing and monitoring of personnel measures (hiring, termination, transfers)
  • Handling of certification processes and correspondence with authorities
  • Preparation of regular and ad hoc reports
  • Willingness to take on projects for continuous process improvement

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed commercial training, preferably as a personnel specialist or a comparable degree
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in payroll and salary accounting/administration
  • Experience in travel expense accounting is
