Good afternoon, I am Spanish and I live in the United Kingdom. My son has to communicate in English at school and in Spanish at home. He can pronounce all the sounds and interact with other children, but he struggles to express his ideas in words. He has difficulty starting a sentence, breathes erratically, and turns his head and avoids eye contact.
He saw a child psychologist for 4 weeks at school and was diagnosed with a delay in his verbal development. The psychologist gave us some activities to do, but I haven't found the right time and I think it's best to leave it in the hands of a professional.
