Hackley Community Care (HCC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center located in the beautiful Lake Shore town of Muskegon, MI that offers medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services to the residents of Muskegon County.

Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will be responsible for intake of written and call-in prescriptions, verifying and updating patient information, preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, receiving and stocking incoming medications, and various delegated duties by the Pharmacists.

Job duties include but not limited to:

Assisting patients
Utilizing electronic medical records from providers
Coordinating workflow with other staff
Preparing reports and performing billing functions

Job Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Current active, in good standing, license and certification to practice as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan.
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
Commitment to excellence and high standards.
Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
Accuracy in work with good organizational skills and customer service skills.
Motivation to complete job duties and assist other personnel as able.
Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred (or willing to learn).
