Description
The Alisal, a luxury 10,500 private acre working Ranch and Resort in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Bartender to join our team.
This position entails attentively taking beverage orders from guests/customers/members and servers to efficiently prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Ranch's recipes and policies.
Accurately recording drink orders and entering them into the register system, in addition to accepting and recording payment, charges, and making change.
Competently preparing garnishes for drinks, replenishing snacks, and receiving and serving food orders to guests seated at the bar.Organizing and maintaining bottles and glasses, and restocking bar inventory in an aesthetically pleasing, functional manner to promote beverages and support efficient drink preparation.
Maintaining organization and cleanliness of bar area, including tables, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage areas.Impeccable drink menu presentation and ability to respond to guest questions and inquiries while consistently displaying a friendly and warm demeanor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Prior bartending experience required.
- CA RBS Training Certification.
- Desire to establish outstanding, authentic, and memorable interactions with internal and external guests.
- Integrity, dependability, and adaptability.
- Skilled at multitasking, heightened attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and organization.
- Extensive wine and spirits knowledge.
- POS knowledge and experience.
- Graceful demeanor under pressure.
- Commitment to confidentiality.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull minimum 50 lbs.
- Able to work on site and to stand, sit, walk, and move continuously for duration of shift.
- Ability to work outside, indoors, in varying temperatures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to present proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States post offer, preemployment.
- Open availability to accommodate varying schedules as well as able to work on weekends and holidays.
