    The Opportunity:

    Verona Pharma is in search of a Respiratory Sales Specialist to join our team, working under the supervision of the Regional Sales Director. In this role, you will devise and implement a strategic plan for your territory in collaboration with various departments, ensuring customer needs are met and sales targets are achieved. As a Respiratory Sales Specialist, you will gain profound insights into customer behavior, establish and nurture strong relationships with Healthcare Practitioners, office staff, and other healthcare providers within the patient care journey. To excel in this position, you should exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit, innovative mindset, operational prowess, and integrity. Possessing advanced Account Management skills is crucial to foster cross-functional collaboration and teamwork across Verona.

    Responsibilities:
    • Represent Verona's products and services to customers, driving sales growth within a specific geographic area professionally and ethically.
    • Build relationships with various healthcare professionals beyond the targeted audience, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.
    • Utilize deep knowledge of disease states and competitor products to tailor interactions with customers accordingly.
    • Demonstrate expertise in Patient Access Programs, Specialty Distribution Models, and execute company-sponsored speaker programs.
    • Enhance partnerships through networking and facilitate direct contact between key customers and home office staff.
    • Utilize CRM software to document customer interactions, leverage technology for increased efficiency, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business strategies.
    • Adapt sales presentations for different formats and locations, using data to drive decision-making for optimal customer engagement.
    • Perform other duties as necessary.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years' experience in pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
    • Specialty pharmacy, alternative channel distribution, or HUB experience is preferred.
    • Previous success in sales territory management and product launches within a competitive environment.
    • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
    • Self-motivated, ambitious, and compliant with commercial policies and regulations.
    • Ability to meet healthcare facility access requirements.
    • Willingness to travel extensively based on residency location.
    Employment is subject to meeting designated requirements such as a driver's license and passing a pre-hire drug test.

    The base salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $170,000 annually, subject to various factors including location and qualifications.
