    General Manager Position at Oyamel Cocina Mexicana

    Are you passionate about leading and managing restaurant operations to offer an exceptional culinary experience? We are looking for a General Manager to take ownership of our restaurant and ensure efficient and profitable operations. This role involves working closely with the Head Chef to maintain our concept vision and JAG standards consistently.

    • Demonstrate that employees are our top priority and focus on developing the next generation of restaurant leaders.
    • Collaborate with the JAG beverage team and Head Chef to create innovative menus and service experiences.
    • Educate your team on regional history, culture, and cuisine, while staying updated on industry trends.
    • Lead by example in providing exceptional service during peak times and special events.
    • Educate, coach, and build teams to exceed expectations and prepare them for advancement.
    • Be an ambassador of JAG culture by communicating the company's vision clearly to all stakeholders.
    • Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, profitability, and compliance with standards and laws.
    • Develop and execute financial plans to maximize profits and manage costs effectively.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    • Minimum of 5+ years of restaurant management experience
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Extensive knowledge of upscale or fine dining service and sales
    • Ability to supervise, train, and motivate employees at all levels
    • Comfortable with technology for daily administrative tasks
    • Experience in revenue management and setting operational goals
