****POSITION SUMMARY****
The Supervisor Service Center is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of a service center, including employee supervision, customer service, inventory control, limited financial responsibility, maintenance of equipment and delivery.
****JOB RESPONSIBILITIES****
Plans and schedules receipt and delivery of products.
Performs routine quality inspections of incoming product and reporting quality issues.
Maintains and executes inventory processes.
Supervises the daily work schedules of picking, staging and loading outgoing shipments of product.
Executes the delivery of any expedited shipments on an emergency basis.
Measures, monitors and reports operations performance and efficiency metrics.
Supervises the operations staff including warehouse/driver positions.
Oversees and/or performs SAP transactions.
Oversees continuous improvement programs through the use of Lean principles..
Operate delivery vehicles and make regular deliveries as needed.
Provides internal and external customer service skills and enhances business relationships.
Maintains facility & equipment.
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished. Mentors, coaches, trains and develops team.
Additional duties as assigned.
****QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS****
2+ years of previous service center experience; or (Warehouse, Delivery, or truck drivers looking for the next step).
3+ years in a leadership role.
Occasional travel either locally, nationally, and/or internationally may be required.
Basic degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications
Basic analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills
Basic verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)
Basic understanding and application of mathematical concepts
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as, internal and external clients
Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
