About the position:

We are looking for a full-time Children?s Program Supervisor with experience working with children in crisis and the ability to supervise a great team.

• Provide spiritual and Biblical guidance by encouraging, praying, and supporting the women, children, staff, and volunteers.
• Responsible for all aspects of planning and executing an innovative kidcentric program, seasonal break programs, summer programs, and special events throughout the year.
• Identify and assign parenting goals and classes for the parent?s case plan. Meets one hour a week with the parent to provide accountability for accomplishing individual parenting goals.
• Assess and advocate for the child's needs for referrals, i.e., IEP, mental health evaluation, medical specialty visits, and other professional services.
• Work collaboratively with schools, parents, and professional therapists to help children succeed.
• Identify and report evidence of suspected abuse or neglect (training provided upon hire).
• Hold weekly One on One meetings to mentor and evaluate team members? success, challenges, career goals, etc.
• Provide yearly and specialized staff training.
• Frequently hold collaborative team meetings to foster creativity, ingenuity, future planning session, share best practices and build unity.

• Thursday 8:30 AM 4:30 PM and Friday 9:00 AM ? 12:00 PM
• Located in Livermore, CA.

Requirements (not a complete job description of the job):

• Education or experience in Childhood Development is required. Please send a cover letter if you have more relative experience not shown on your resume.
• Compassion and understanding toward children who suffered trauma.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift to 40lbs.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Drive and pick up children from school as needed.
• Must have a current California Driver?s license (min 5 yrs.), clean DMV report, and be able to drive Shepherd?s Gate?s vehicles.
• Mandated Reporter Training (provided upon hire).
• Demonstrate a committed Christian faith.
• First Aid training and CPR Certification (provided upon hire).
• Must pass a background investigation.

Benefits:

Salary is $23.00-$25.00 an hour.
