Description:

We are Lockheed Martin**Test and Evaluation (T&E) Edwards F-35 site project and integration lead is responsible to lead, plan, and organize all elements of the F-35 test program at Edwards Air Force Base.

The site lead will provide strategic vision and planning for the Test and Evaluation teams and be the primary POC for F-35 Edwards Flight Test efforts to the E&T F-35 LOB and T&E Integrators.

The site lead will collaborate with the Edwards Site Director, Edwards Sr.

Manager of Project Management, Edwards Program Planning team, Fort Worth F-35 Execution Lead, F-35 program management, F-35 LOB, site functional leadership, and T&E leadership teams.

The site lead will work with the JPO, 461th Test Squadron Leadership, Edwards Site Director, F-35 LOB and T&E F-35 Integrator to develop a priority strategy to ensure that all requirements are supported for successful project execution.

The site lead will control and own the overall F-35 test site budget and EVMS and perform the role of OBS manager.

As required, the site lead will work with engineering, maintenance and operations site senior leadership to rebalance resources and maintain alignment for successful program execution.

The site lead with work across the T&E leadership team to ensure that T&E processes incorporate the needs and requirement of the F-35 programs, reflect the work processes followed by the Edwards programs including Air Force Instructions, and all personnel are properly trained to ensure adherence to T&E processes.

The site lead will work with the T&E leadership team to develop a robust strategy to ensure that all competencies in T&E are represented in the F-35 contracting process and BOEs.

The site lead will develop training plans to support program execution that focuses on all levels of experience to include control room hands-on training and leveraging training opportunities outside of Edwards (ie Palmdale, FW, PAX).

Liaisons include F-35 LOB, F-35 Program Leadership, E&T Functional Engineering Leadership, T&E Integrators and T&E leadership.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.

Experience with Flight Test and/or Requirements Verification.

Experience with Flight Test Operations and Execution.

Experience in Corrective Action and Problem Solving skills.

Experience in Presenting Plans, Actions, Strategy to Executive Level Leadership

Experience in Business/Financial Earned Value Processes

Active Secret security clearance with investigation no more than 5 years


Desired Skills:

Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate team in technical and strategic development.

Ability to address complex matters / solutions with senior leadership.

Familiarization with Edwards/Air Force Test Processes and Procedures

Knowledge of F-35 aircraft systems and flight test operations.


Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.


Clearance Level:
Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.


Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
