In this role you will be responsible for:

Float to assigned unit/s:
Med surg/Tele or ICU
Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
Answers phones and call lights
Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
Assists patient transporter as needed
Other duties as assigned


Shifts:

Day Shift, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Night Shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.


Experience:

2 or more years of nursing assistant experience (strongly preferred)


Certifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (preferred)

Current BCLS certification (required)


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Basic computer knowledge


Nursing Students in RN Program:

Enrolled in an accredited Nursing program (Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's) and in good standing.

Must have successfully completed the first semester of a nursing program and must upload current unofficial transcripts
